Season 2 of STARZ Original Series ‘POWER’ Kicks Into High Gear With The Promise of Season 3

When the inaugural season of Power ended last year, it left people talking and wanting more. Word on the street was Season 2 wasn’t supposed to start until October. Thank goodness, it started earlier this month with a bang! There were 1.43 million viewers tuned into S2 E1, making it the most watched STARZ Original series season premiere episode ever. Executive Producer Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson knew he was getting into something good when he decided to take part in this awesome STARZ series. Now that season 2 is moving full steam ahead, folks are getting into ‘Power’ gear.

Now that Angela has been outed and Ghost has to reconfigure his moves, the plot continues to thicken. Tommy gets caught up in the hype for a while but comes back down to realize what’s really good. Holly is nursing a gunshot wound meant for Ghost and Tasha is still hoping to keep the family together. Kanan (50 Cent) is out and about so he adds an interesting twist to the entire situation. It is going to be exciting watching the storyline unfold as the season progresses.

The bad news is that Season two will eventually come to an end but the good news is that Season three is on deck! Given the show’s strong media presence and viewer following, the show has been picked up for a third season. Production is scheduled to begin in September 2015 at Brooklyn’s Steiner Studios in New York City. Season three will be a 10-episode situation and will air in more that 175 countries/territories worldwide. Check out the clip below to see how season two is shaping up. Tune into STARZ Saturday nights at 10:00p.m. for new episode action.
