“The Breakfast Club” is an important part of entertainment history for a lot of people. This John Hughes film shed light on the lives of the “typical” High School brain, beauty, jock, rebel, and recluse as they serve their Saturday in detention. The film is definitely a classic amongst folks like myself who grew up with this film in the backdrop.

The original visual dropped back in February 1985. The remastered classic will be re-released next month and shown nationwide for a limited time. The special screenings will hit select theaters during the week of March 26 – March 31, 2015, for 2 days only. The screening will include commentary from cast and staff, some of which have gone on to make “teen movies” of their own. Tickets for the screening can be purchased here and an anniversary edition Blu-Ray/DVD version will be available in stores on March 10.
