While many of us are looking for jackets and coats for the fall and winter months ahead, the creative minds at Under Armour have their eye on the S/S 2015 season. Recently, I was privileged enough to be able to get a sneak peek at the Under Armour S/S men and women’s collections that will become available to the people once the winter weather transitions into spring.
The one thing UA really hit home with is their successful marriage of lightweight yet durable material in their pieces. Personally, I work out in tank tops and shorts because I absolutely hate the feeling of heavy sweat-soaked shirts. Under Armor scores big with their patented ventilation system and sweat resistant materials.
Beyond the functionality of the pieces, there’s a great selection of tops and bottoms. Leggings, ¾ pants, and shorts for a number of styles allow for quite a comfortable range. Regardless of where you are or what activity you’re into, style and comfort is guaranteed. Appearance wise, the theme is designed with literally “Armour”. The designs give a much chiseled body suit type of appearance. It’s something that I could see Batman training in.
Again, UA looks to provide sturdy support without limiting motion or full range of motion. The shoe collection features cross runners, Basketball sneakers and off-road hi-tops, which also is a supporting sponsor of the Tough Mudder races. Unlike many things these days, you really do get what you pay for in comfort and quality.
