Texas was on a historical mission last weekend. On December 3rd at an AMC Theater in Dallas, Oprah & Tyler Perry were the hosts of a private screening for the film “Red Tails“. “Red Tails” is a film based on the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African American pilots fighting in World War II. The star-studded cast includes the likes of many including Ne-Yo, Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard, and Nater Parker, all of whom were in attendance.
For those of you who do not know the story of the Tuskeegee Airmen, you need to take a break from Googling the BS and get acquainted with your history. Oprah was so impressed with Ne_Yo’s performance that she Tweeted about it. She said,” @neyocompound you were really good and added humor to this film. I loved the camaradie with the bro’s. Loved meeting you.”
Check out the trailer for the film below and make sure you catch the movie due in theaters on January 20, 2012.
